Q. Do you offer tastings? How many people can I bring with me?
A. Yes, we offer a complimentary tasting and consultation for you and your fiancé
plus one guest. Cake tasting is the one aspect of planning a wedding the whole
family are keen to be a part of, however, we have found with too much input this often
makes it difficult to focus on your wants.
Q. Is there a charge for the consultation? How long can we expect to be there?
A. Our tasting sessions are free. One hour is usually enough time which will include
discussions on design. Appointments with other couples are scheduled before and
after yours so please be on time to ensure we have the full hour.
Cake samples are prepared specifically for your appointment; therefore please give
us a courtesy call within 48 hours if your appointment needs to be rescheduled.
Q. What do I need to bring to our appointment?
A. It is helpful to have a sample of the colour theme and any element from your
event that you feel we can draw inspiration from. Pictures of your dress, venue, your
invitations or design motif… a monogram, colour swatches… a piece of wrapping
paper that catches your eye… it can all be helpful.
The design process is a joint effort and we’ll keep going until you have a design you

we do have a budget range which starts from £250.
Before you arrive for your consultation, it is helpful to have a budget in mind for what
you would like to spend on your cake. This will give us a better sense of what we
can design for you.
Q. Do you have a minimum cost for birthday cakes?
A. Yes. Our standard birthday cakes start from £30 and novelty from £50.
Q. What is your delivery area? What do you charge for delivery?
A. Our delivery is within the M25, however we are willing to travel anywhere and

ask that you be absolutely certain that you would like to work with us, as all deposits
are date specific and non-refundable.
Q. How far in advance should I order a cake?
A. We are often booked up many weeks ahead of time so the sooner the better to
reserve your place on our calendar. We require a minimum of one month but for
weddings we suggest a minimum of six months to one year.
We definitely attempt to accommodate last minute requests if our schedule allows.
Please call or email to find out our availability for your particular date.
Q. Do you have a catalogue or brochure?
A. We do not have a brochure other than our website. Each cake is custom designed
so our website serves mainly as a portfolio for you to see previous work. If you
would like to schedule a consultation you will then have the opportunity to view our
Q. If I want fresh flowers on my cake how can that be arranged?
A. We typically coordinate directly with your florist to ensure we are using the same
varieties of flowers. We purchase the flowers and place them on the cake prior to
delivery. If you prefer your florist to provide the flowers they can arrange them onsite
after our delivery window, which is typically an hour prior to your event.
Q. Do you make sugar free or vegan cakes? Do you use organic ingredients?
A. We currently do not make sugar free or vegan cakes. Our ingredients are natural
and of the highest quality. Locally sourced, organic ingredients are definitely used
whenever possible. We truly believe that ingredients really do make all the difference
and are committed to using only the finest products available.
